I swear that it was only a few months ago that we had turkey for Thanksgiving but I know it is just that time seems to go faster with each year that I grow older. Or, maybe it is just that I am so busy that I lose track of time. I know I have a lot to be grateful for, being healthy, sort of, having our new apartment completed and enjoying the extra room I now live in, having a lot of friends (won't mention the enemies) and well, just being alive. I am glad that I still have the time and energy to write this column and that you folks have the patience to wade through all the words I write. I know that some complain that my column is too long and each month I keep telling my friend Chuck that it will be short but somehow, it still ends up being a bit long.
