I swear that it was only a few months ago that we had turkey for Thanksgiving but I know it is just that time seems to go faster with each year that I grow older. Or, maybe it is just that I am so busy that I lose track of time. I know I have a lot to be grateful for, being healthy, sort of, having our new apartment completed and enjoying the extra room I now live in, having a lot of friends (won't mention the enemies) and well, just being alive. I am glad that I still have the time and energy to write this column and that you folks have the patience to wade through all the words I write. I know that some complain that my column is too long and each month I keep telling my friend Chuck that it will be short but somehow, it still ends up being a bit long. One thing I can do is keep this intro short, so, lets get to it.

Hi. This is not really something for the blog, but i cant find your e-mail so I send my question here. I was reading this story about philippino males and that you should stay away from them. The story is the long one written in the end by corpsman. http://www.angeles2.com/board/showflat.php?Cat=1&Number=542610&an=0&page=0#542610
I have been to AC twice and coming back soon again, I cant really relate to what it said there. What is your oppinion, is it really this bad and "dangerous"?
Thanks!

Harry, We have not met but I very much enjoy your site . I will be over there for a few months in Jan. 2 things. Don't rule out early stage congestive heart failure causing your swollen ankles and coffee drinking dramatically lowers your chances of getting cerossis of the liver. Send me a E-mail address and I will fwd the article. A few of our brothers could use it. Lou
